2010 Camps

Information regarding upcoming camps will be posted as soon as it becomes available.

Miichigan Tech offers both an individual development camp and a camp for teams. Both are coordinated by Kevin Luke, Michigan Tech's head basketball coach and four-time GLIAC coach of the year.

Development Camp

Quality instruction by experienced coaches focuses on individual skills and develops your all-around ability. Open to those entering grades 6-8 during the fall 2010 academic year.

Boys' Team Camp

Special requests need to be made one week prior to the start of camp.

Open to those entering grades 9-12 during the fall 2010 academic year.

• Coaches are encouraged to submit all team applications and health forms together no later than one week prior to start of camp.
• Eight-player minimum
• All games officiated
• Outstanding competition
• Junior varsity teams welcome (separate divisional play from varsity)
• All participants must complete and return a signed Health History Form prior to start of camp. Those who do not will not be allowed to participate.
• Participants who drive to camp are required to turn in their car keys to their coach.
• Coaches meeting 1:30 pm on first day in SDC Room 237.
• One coach per team. Head coaches receive free room/board. $80 for each additional coach.
• Commuters (Plan B) receive lunch on Wednesday and Thursday. Dinner may be purchased  at the cafeteria.

As Tech's all-time winningest coach with 260 wins, Luke's teams have won four GLIAC titles, earned five NCAA Tournament berths and averaged nineteen wins per season. He was named Basketball Times National Coach of the Year in 2002-03 and has been named GLIAC Coach of the Year four times. This is his sixteenth year as Head Coach at Michigan Tech.
